Exit exhibition

This magazine Dirt Grrrl is a specialist magazine for women who ride dirt bikes. As part of her media honours research at Southern Cross University the magazines producer Kelly Parkes developed the Dirt Grrrl concept to offset the mainly male focus of dirt biking mags. Dirt Grrrl is part of the Exit 06 exhibition.

Exit 06 is an exhibition of the works produced by students at SCUs School of Arts and Social Sciences who are completing contemporary music, visual arts and media degrees. It covers creative arts as diverse as magazine and documentary production, music CDs and performances, painting, sculpture, film, writing, animation and digital art.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Clark will officially launch the month-long extravaganza this Friday, October 20, from 11am in D.129 in the Music Building.

The launch will feature performances by Southern Cross University students Tim Sladden, Sally and the 4, and composer Brenton Rice.
