Elemental art at the Knob

This fine felt work Fire by Barbara Mills is part of the new exhibition at Blue Knob Hall Gallery and Caf.

Blue Knob Hall Gallerys current exhibition Celebrating the Elements shows the art (more than 50 pieces) of 18 local artists. The works include a large mixed media installation by Francisco called The Fifth Element, large digital prints on canvas of local landscapes by Len Martin, a wool and chiffon waterfall by Sachiko Kotaka, clay sculptures by Ruth Sutter and Heather Kimber, felt wall hangings by Barbara Mills, paintings by Claire Larrivee, mixed media wall pieces by Margie Rojo and some mind-bending hebel sculptures by Mac McMahon.

Bookings for the gallerys famous exhibition dinner at 7pm (after the opening at 6.30pm this Friday, October 20) can be made by ringing the gallery on 6689 7449. The caf will be offering a set vegetarian dinner menu for $10.

Celebrating the Elements runs Wednesdays to Sundays from 10am-4pm till November 19.

The gallery is situated at 719 Blue Knob Road, Lillian Rock.
