Songwriting celebration

The Bangalow Pacific Songwriters Festival explores the art of songwriting on Saturday, October 28, in the village of Bangalow. Its a one-day event with performances, workshops, forums, youth activities, busking and a huge performance concert. Local songwriters as well as national and international ones will be there to share their skills, experience and of course their songs.

Midnight Oil drummer and songwriter Rob Hirst and rocker Tex Perkins will be there as well as local songwriting heroes Diana Anaid, Sarah McGregor, Leigh James, Gabi Bliss, Matt Hanley. Brendan Mook Hanley and Julie Shanto Oliver.

Tickets are $25 for unlimited day sessions; $25 for the showcase concert; $40 for the day sessions and the concert; and $5 for the youth program.
