Crozier Oval a haven for kids

During the school holidays Crozier Oval has proved to be a haven for kids who want to kick a ball around or ride their skateboards. Sadly, Lismore City Council intends to close the gates during the day and these un-official sporting moments will be moved to areas with less shade and amenity. Is it really wise to lock up a community oval thats actually used and enjoyed by the residents of Lismore?
