Theres something special about Lucinda Peters. Even before she had an album or had even played a gig outside a bar or restaurant, Lucinda appeared on the front cover of The Sydney Morning Heralds Metro entertainment guide. She lit up the Sydney scene with her remarkable voice, her skilled double-bass playing (now theres a sexy instrument) and her advanced songwriting prowess.

Now she has that debut album, Desert Stars, and will perform at the Byron Community Centre on Saturday, October 21, from 8pm.
