Diana Anaid (pictured) will be one of the performers in a new festival taking place in Bangalow (festival central) on Saturday, October 28 the Bangalow Pacific Songwriters Festival.
This one-day festival will incorporate performances, workshops, forums, youth activities, busking and a major showcase concert. Songwriters from the local northern NSW region will be joined by guests of national and international standing. Like Midnight Oil songwriter Rob Hirst (Beds Are Burning, Power and the Passion), Tex Perkins (The Cruel Sea), Leigh James, Gabi Bliss and the festival organisers Brendan Mook Hanley and Julie Shanto Oliver.
The Bangalow Pacific Songwriters Festival will take place in four main venues in Bangalow A&I Hall, Moller Pavilion, Bangalow RSL and the Bangalow Scout Hall.
Tickets are $25 for unlimited day sessions; the songwriters concert is also $25; or you can do both for $40. The youth program is $5 at the door.
