Trinity sizzle in the pool

Members of the Trinity Lismore Swimming Club with the Far North Coast Winter Sprint Swimming Shield.

The newly formed Trinity Lismore Swimming Club blitzed the field at the recent Far North Coast Winter Sprint Swimming Shield at the Lismore Memorial Baths, trouncing 16 other clubs to win the shield by over 200 points.

The swimming club has only been in operation since May this year and the event was the first swimming carnival that the club attended as a team.

Since the club was formed the swimmers have been concentrating on technique and swimming efficiently at speed under the guidance of coaches Ken Malcolm and Shaun Colby. As a result numerous personal bests were swum.

The Trinity Lismore Swimming Club trains at the newly built Trinity Sports Centre.
