Soul landscape

This oil painting by Dianne Ingram is a landscape with plenty of personal abstraction mixed in. Its part of her exhibition A Greater Reality on display at Alstonville.

Local artist Dianne Ingram travels a lot up to Toowoomba in Queensland to run art workshops. She passes through Kyogle, Woodenbong and Legume. She often stops to capture the colour and spirit of that country with her pencils or pastels. The refined results of her graphic meditations are now hanging on the wall of Kolinda Gallery in Alstonville.

Diannes exhibition A Greater Reality is a map of her physical and personal journey.

It is a journey into both the environment and my subconscious, said Dianne. I have tried to show the journey by using a motif of a road or pathway...

AGreater Reality opens at the gallery this Friday, October 6, at 7.30pm and runs till October 19.
