Olympic coach sets up in Lismore

One time canadian Olympic coach Louis St Laurent (pictured below) has moved to the Northern Rivers and has set up shop as the head coach of the Lismore Indoor Swim Team, which trains at the Summit Sports and Fitness Centre in Goonellabah.

Louis has coached winners of the most gruelling race in the world, the Hawaii Ironman, notably past winners Peter Reid and Laurie Bowden.

Louis is excited about rebuilding the Lismore Indoor Swim Team, which has lost some of its participants in recent months after a few of Summits coaches moved to the Trinity Sports Complex and the Memorial Baths.

I am looking to cater for everybody, from serious swimmers and triathletes to children who just want to train for fitness, said Louis. Swimming is such a great exercise for everybody and the Summit has a great family atmosphere.

Any potential swimmers or parents who would like more information should contact the Summit Sports and Fitness Centre on 6625 2025.
