Dont worry if you miss out

Fishing may be the largest recreational activity in Australia but thats not a guarantee that everyone who goes fishing gets to catch a feed or even gets to catch a fish. This is true even for the best fishermen and women. Fishing is a fickle thing and you only have to be in the wrong place, have the wrong bait or be on the incorrect tide and you will miss out. There are a thousand other reasons or excuses why we go home with none. In fact the best place to get a feed is often the local co-op or fish market. Still, there is nothing like catching your own, so dont be disheartened if you take a while to get some good fish because often the gun fishos suffer the same fate.

Another quick reminder that entry forms for the Bass Classic on October 8 and 9 are out now and you can register whenever you like. If you register before the event a catch report sheet will be sent to you to use during the Classic. If you choose to register at the event on the Friday night or Saturday morning the report sheets will also be there.
