Dolphin vote

North Coast Music and the Dolphin Awards of 2006 are inviting nominations for two awards popularly voted for Best Venue 2006 and Contribution to the Industry.

The first award recognises the effort a venue has put into promoting local musicians, and original music in particular. The second is for an outstanding contribution to the local music industry by a person or organisation.

Note that the area covered includes from Bellingen in the south to Tweed in thenorth and the Tablelands in the west. Email your nominations to Nominations must be made by September 26.

The Dolphins Awards gala (red carpet) is on Tuesday, October 10, at the Beach Hotel in Byron. Performing on the night are Invisible Friend, The Love Bus, The Romaniacs and many more.

Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
