Horsin around with the groove

Tim Sladden (pictured) just scored a win at the World Show Jumping Championships. Congrats champ.

But now hes getting off his high horse and featuring at the Jazz N Blues night at the Rous Hotel in Lismore next Tuesday, September 26, with his band The Satellites. Tim will present some of his originals and a swag of jazz and blues standards. The band is comprised of students from the Contemporary Music Department at SCU. With Tim on vocals, guitar and trumpet, Connor Fitzgerald on keyboards, Dave Tweedie on bass and Aiden Haworth on drums, Tim Sladden and The Satellites will start the grooves at 8.30pm.

$7/5 gets you a ticket to rhythm central.
