Garage sale a cool fundraiser

Potted plants, kids toys and even a chainsaw are some of things Bexhill Public School students (l-r) James Fraser, Aleisha Brice and Coby Aafjes will be selling at the schools Giant Garage Sale and Spring Plant Sale.

Bexhill Public School students get pretty hot under the collar in the middle of summer. The schools combined music/library room is in desperate need of an air-conditioner and to raise funds the school is holding its seventh annual Giant Garage Sale and Spring Plant Sale this Saturday and Sunday, September 23-24.

Snap up a bargain from the range of books, clothes, toys, furniture and bric-a-brac or choose from a large selection of native and exotic plants. On the Saturday there will also be a cake stall, coffee stand and a BBQ so you can snack while you shop.

Drop in on the way to or from Lismore, is principal Alan Fosters suggestion, grab a bargain and help our wonderful school.

The Giant Garage Sale and Spring Plant Sale is at the Bexhill Hall on Bangalow Road from 7.30am-2.30pm on Saturday and 8.30am-2pm on Sunday.
