Lights, hip hop, action!

The little river town of Coraki will fill with people and activity when the Coraki Tea Tree Artsfest happens there from October 29-31.

To complement the Coraki Art Prize, workshops will be held running up to and on the Artsfest weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, October 7 and 8, therell be two workshops. One is a film workshop by local director Tristan Bancks, whose short films have screened at some of the worlds top film festivals.

In this two-day TAFE Outreach workshop Tristan will mentor a group of six filmmakers as they make a hip hop music video to be screened at the Coraki Tea Tree Artsfest. The workshop is a perfect first step into filmmaking and music video creation.

Which brings us to the other workshop the Hip Hop, Breakdance and MCing workshop facilitated by Daniella Finkenauer (aka Ms.Defy Old School Body Popper), Jason Campbell and Rangimarie Ferguson (aka Ms.eXotic) over the two days.

For more info on these free workshops phone Kate Welch on 6683 2325.
