Clean sweep in Ipswich

Lismore PCYC Judo have returned from the Ipswich Tournament with some impressive results.

Nicholas Casey Sams, Joel Parer, Jasmine Parer, Tayla Espener, Takashi Watanabe and head coach Alan Foley all dominated their divisions. Foley also took the opportunity to re-introduce the lightning footsweep to competition.

The gold medal haul came on the back of plenty of training and dedication from the ever inclusive Lismore-based squad. If youre interested in joining the team training is on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the PCYC on the corner of Dawson and Orion streets, Lismore. Juniors train at 5pm and seniors at 6pm.
