Junior rugby grand finals

Far North Coast Junior Rugby Union is staging their grand finals over the next two Friday nights at the Lismore rugby ground.

The expanded competition, which includes 1200 players and 60 teams, culminates in grand finals in all ages from Under 12s to Under 17s as well as two Under 10 exhibition matches. This Friday the Under 15s and Under 16s from Wollongbar play Lismore and Lennox Head respectively and in the Under 17s Casino take on Yamba. A special presentation will also be made to the Under 14s representative team, which won the NSW Country Championships in Grafton recently.

The executive officer of NSW Country Rugby Union, Terry Woodward, will present the players with jumpers that have been specially embroidered.
