Corrigan takes the Bulls by the horns

Casino Bulls Dywayne Corrigan dives over for a try late in the second half to draw ahead of Ballina in the preliminary final at Crozier Oval.

Dywayne Corrigan answered his critics on Saturday in the preliminary final against Ballina, kicking two penalty goals from wide out and punching the Bulls into the lead with a try under the posts late in the match.

Casino went on to win the preliminary final 34-24 and earnt themselves a spot in the grand final against the Grafton Redmen at Oakes Oval this Saturday at 3.30pm.

Corrigan missed a number of penalty goal chances in the Bulls one point loss against Grafton in the major semi final but his performance against the Seahorses was exemplary. He will need to be at his best if the Bulls are to knock off the minor premiers this Saturday. That said, the Bulls should go in as favourites as the Redmen have only played once in the last four weeks.
