New coppers hit the streets

Richmond Local Area Command received four new police officers out of the latest round of graduates from the NSW Police College. The new coppers are (l-r) Clare Beek (originally from Casino), Amanda Vidler (originally from Lismore), Emma Thrum and Fiona Stewart. Senior Constable Michael Hogan said it was purely coincidental that the four new police officers were all women but said it would boost female numbers on the local force to around 25 per cent.
