Seeing the Doctor

Dynamic Nimbin duo Doug and Biskit have played music, won awards, realesed albums and now have made a film. Versatile, what?

Doug and Biskit from Nimbin have had their new short film Doctor picked up by British-based global film distributor Imaginites, who will be selling the show to TV stations around the world. Theyve already sold it to one cable TV station in America and it will be screening there in September.

They made the film with cameraman and lighting guru Paul Tate (Nearly Normal Nimbin) and camera operator Jen Rush.

Doug and Biskit describe the film as experimental and genre-bending but wont give away the full plot instead they invite people to come and see for themselves when the film screens at the Nimbin Independent Film Festival, which is on this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 1-3, at the Nimbin Town Hall. Doctor screens this Friday at 7.30pm.
