The best in cricket coaching

Level three coach and former Sydney first grader Stan Gilchrist will head up an impressive list of coaches for the upcoming Adam Gilchrist Cricket Coaching Clinic at St Johns College Woodlawn from October 10-12.

The clinics, which have been in recess for a year, have always been well received by the boys and girls who have attended as they offer exacting instruction in all of the disciplines of cricket; fast bowling, spin bowling, batting, fielding and wicket keeping.

This years coaching team also includes Port Macquaries Mervyn Bourke, another former Sydney first grader; Kate MacGibbon, a present member of Queensland womens cricket squad; and Joel Parrey, one of East Lismores young first grade guns. Merv is a specialist batting coach, Kate an all-rounder and Joel a keeper/batsman, while Stan will also help with keeping skills and spin bowling.

The Gilchrist clinics have been running for over 20 years and have always been well attended with kids from a far afield as Bellingen making the trip north to receive fully accredited coaching.

The full cost of the clinic is $300. For an application form or information email Stan at stang@nor.com.au or phone him on 0412 664 617.
