Schools extravaganza

These dangerous pirates are from Whian Whian Primary School. Theyll be plundering the hearts of the audience when they perform as part of the annual Lismore Performing Arts Festival next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Students from around 30 local public schools will perform in the 30th Lismore Performing Arts Festival at the Lismore Workers Club on August 29 and 30. This annual event gives local primary students a chance to showcase their talent in a non-competitive environment. The performances will include the combined small schools choir and concert band, dance and movement items from schools across the Lismore district.

Tickets are $10 and available now from the Lismore Workers Club. The show starts at 7pm. For more information phone Jodie Digney on 0427 539 963.
