Baghdad meets Brazil when world music party band Azadoota plays its Iraqi music with Latin percussion, delivering high-energy renditions of Arabic, Assyrian and Kurdish songs. (No Chisel...) Sydney-based, the band will perform at the Aussie Tavern in Murwillumbah this Friday, August 25; the Rainbow Caf in Nimbin this Saturday, August 26, from 1-3pm; Bangalow Hotel this Saturday, August 26, from 8pm; and at The Rails in Byron this Sunday, August 27, from 6.30 to 9pm.
