Communal feasting is a pleasure. Especially when theres a superb chef, fine music, fresh air and maybe a glass of something cool and refreshing. Mmmm. Lismore Feast is coming...

This annual gourmet indulgence will get lips asmacking and stomachs arumbling on Saturday, September 9, under the stars in the gardens of Lismore City Hall. The guest chef for this year is Peter Conistis, who is master of the kitchen at Sydneys Omega Restaurant which was recently named best new restaurant by, um, someone.

Peters cuisine is inspired by his Greek heritage.

And hell be preparing a six-course feast. Vegetarians and celiacs will be catered for.

And of course there cant be food without wine and music. The wine will be provided by De Bortoli and

Quarteto Batida will supply the music to accompany digestion.
