Passion for fashion

Fashion designer Cat Anderson is looking forward to The Passion Parade a funky night of cool music and hot fashion that she and fellow designer Jeht Burgoyne are producing in Lismore.

Jeht Burgoyne from Flourish and fashion parade maestro Cat Anderson from Nothing To Wear (both shops are in Lismore CBD) are joining their considerable fashion forces to stage an entertaining showcase of talent, both musical and fashionable, at the Winsome Hotel in North Lismore on Saturday, August 26.

The evening will start upstairs at the piano bar and verandah from 7pm with some music the improvised groove-based jazz of Beetroot followed by a fashion parade showcasing the dazzling (and sometimes challenging) work of local designers.

Previous local designer parades have been hugely popular. Must be something in the water that makes North Coast fashion so attractive and interesting.

Therell be special guests and artworks by Gail Duncan and Carol Shephard.

And after all that theres a retro dance party downstairs. Cool.

Tickets are $10 and available from Flourish in Magellan Street or Nothing To Wear in the Star Court Arcade. Or at the door on the night.

For more info phone Cat on 6622 2595 during business hours.
