Dance Dream

Kirsten Lee has a break from rehearsal and dreams of the excitement she will feel when the spotlight hits the Star Court Theatre stage for The Dream.

NORPA presents The Dream (a production by the Good Foot Dance Company) at the Star Court Theatre in Lismore next Thursday and Friday, August 24 and 25.

Choreographed by Michael Hennessy, a former dancer with the Sydney Dance Company and currently head of dance at Lismores Conservatorium, The Dream explores a young persons desire to become a great dancer. Some of the North Coasts leading young dancers have come together in this production. And it will be loved by the whole family its inspiring for the younger ones and rewarding for the older.

Showtime is at 10am and 7pm next Thursday, August 24, and at 10am next Friday, August 25.

Tickets are $22/17/12 (or $55 for a family) from www.norpa.org.au or phone 6621 5600.

Freebie: The Echo has a family pass to give away to the evening show next Thursday. To go in the draw to win phone 6622 2888 between 10.15 & 10.30am next Monday, August 21, and tell us if Torvill and Dean were a) dancers, b) a pop music duo, or c) skaters.
