Melbourne winner of World Cup

The finalists and the judges of the 4th annual Nimbin Performance Poetry World Cup are gathered here on the stage of the Nimbin School of Arts at the finale of last weekends wild words and wet weather. The weekend attracted poets from around Australia and some from overseas.

The prized World Cup (and $1500) was won by Emillie Zoey Baker from Melbourne (seen at the back holding the sacred trophy), with Sydneys Candy Royalle winning the $400 Summerland Credit Union Peoples Choice prize for the second time.

Nimbins cafs are still abuzz with poetry.
