An Aboriginal Childrens Day is being held this Friday, August 4, in Heritage Park from 10am-2pm.

The family fun day is free and all are welcome

Tintenbar kids space out

Have you ever wondered what its like in space? You can find out next Friday, August 11, when the students from Teven-Tintenbar Primary School talk live to US astronaut Jeff Williams while he orbits the earth in the International Space Station.

It has taken over 18 months of planning for this event to occur so there is a lot of anticipation and excitement at the school, said principal Keith Scott. We will be broadcasting the questions and answers for everyone to hear.

The live link-up is planned for 5.32pm but the school will be open from 4pm so people can enjoy space food, video displays, winter night sky tours and exhibitions of students work. For info phone 6687 8210.
