Lismore goes Mental

After 30 years Mental As Anything are still on a huge pub crawl. They first pretended to be a band to get a free drink. It worked. Theyre still getting free drinks. That was on the night Elvis died. (If he really did.)

With hits like The Nips Are Getting Bigger and Live it Up, this iconic Australian band is an institution a Mental institution (he he) and is still pumping out its particular brand of garage pop.

The Mentals will play at the Lismore Workers Club next Friday night, August 4. Tickets are $17 from the club.
