Whether youre an art connoisseur, a collector or someone who simply appreciates the beauty of art, then the Lismore Art Clubs 46th annual exhibition is a must-see event.

This free exhibition features works by well-known local artists who have had their work displayed nationally as well as emerging artists who are continually improving their skills through the clubs monthly tutorials.

Because of the diverse membership of the Lismore Art Club we are able to present a real patchwork of art that reflects the whole spectrum of ages, tastes and experience, said Lismore Art Club member, Terry Wells. Its just a fantastic showcase of homegrown Lismore art, and many of the works are for sale. Theres nothing quite like enjoying a beautiful exhibition and walking away with your own piece of original art.

The Lismore Art Club also has a special section each year dedicated to Wilson Park School, giving the students a chance to show off their creativity to the wider community. The school is the clubs chosen charity and a box will be at the exhibition for anyone who wishes to make a donation.

The Lismore Art Clubs 46th annual exhibition will be open for viewing from next Thursday to Sunday, August 3-6, at the Lismore Workers Club. It is open from 10.30am-8.30pm Thursday to Saturday and from 10.30am-3pm on Sunday.

The Lismore Art Club is always happy to have new members and people are welcome to discuss joining during the exhibition.
