Toms Revelation

Tom Long warms up for his stay in Byron attending the premiere of his new film The Book of Revelation and his appearance at the Byron Bay Writers Festival.

The Byron Bay Writers Festival will present the NSW premiere of the film The Book of Revelation at Byron Cinemas on Wednesday, August 2.

Stars of The Book of Revelation, a psyschological mystery, include Tom Long, Colin Friels, Deborah Mailman and Greta Scacchi.

Tom Long will attend the screening and will join the drinks party before it. Tom is known to audiences for his roles in The Dish, Two Hands and (my favourite) Doing Time for Patsy Cline.

This red carpet premiere (wear your best sandals) will begin at 5.45pm for drinks and nibblies and the flick starts at 6.30pm. It is ticketed separately from the general festival program and seats must be booked in advance. The cost of $25 covers drinks, the screening and forum. Online bookings can be made at www.byronbaywritersfestival.com or call Jetset Byron Bay on 6685 6262.
