Artistically Bentley

Co-ordinator of the Bentley Art Prize, Helen Trustum, gladly accepts a cheque from Glenn Costello, marketing manager for Tursa. The $1000 is for the open painting section of this venerable art prize.

The annual Bentley Art Prize will be held at the Bentley Public Hall from August 4-6.

Its really wonderful. Tursa and everyone else weve approached has been very forthcoming with help and support, said Helen Trustum, co-ordinator of the event. Its shaping up to be a very good show.

You can still enter in categories like painting, sculpture, photography, drawing and scrapbooking. Theres even a new Bentley and district landcape category this year.

Entry forms are now available at local libraries, art galleries and picture framing shops.

For more info phone Helen on 6663 5283.

Note: Bennetts Bus will leave from the Plaza Bus Stop in Casino on Saturday, August 5, at 10am and return at 3pm. Cost is $5 return. Phone Joy Bennett on 6662 4554.
