Improve health and wellbeing for free!

The Natural Medicine Clinic at Southern Cross University is offering free health and wellbeing consultations for staff at local businesses.

Aimed at reducing sick leave and increasing productivity, the Healthy Workers Scheme is designed to promote healthy lifestyles for local workers and any businesses who participate will be given free wellness vouchers.

Head of the Natural Medicine Clinic, Paul Orrock, said the vouchers entitle staff to attend the clinic for a free two-hour health check, including diet and lifestyle assessment and a thorough non-invasive physical examination.

Our clinicians then develop a tailored treatment plan to help achieve optimal health and wellbeing, he said. Research shows that for every dollar spent on wellness, employers can save up to ten dollars in reduced sick days, lower health insurance and increased productivity.
