Clowning around for kids

Gearing up for Red Nose Day this Friday is Gibsons Amcal Chemist owner Jason Adam and staff member Elise Hollman.

The mother of all charity days, Red Nose Day, is being held this Friday, June 30, and all it takes to help out is some spare change and the ability to have a good laugh at yourself.

Red Nose Day merchandise will be on sale at Gibsons Amcal Chemist, Best and Less, Coles, The Flight Centre, Toy Kingdom and various other retail outlets, with pens, teddy bears, chest pins and of course red noses to choose from.

Proceeds from the day will be used for research into SIDS (commonly known as cot death) and supporting families who have been affected by SIDS, miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death.

Babies are our future and anything that can help save a babys life is something we wholeheartedly support, said Gibsons Amcal Chemist owner, Jason Adam. We cant rely on the government to support these charities 100 per cent we need public support as well. The merchandise on sale ranges from $2 to $6 its not a lot to help such a worthwhile cause.
