Deadly funny theatre

Oh no! Dont let these seemingly lovely old sisters kiss you! Its the kiss of death!

The Lismore Theatre Company presents one of the longest running Broadway plays, Arsenic and Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring.

A couple of sweet old sisters politely poison men and bury them in their cellar. I suppose everyone needs a hobby. Especially the retired elderly.

Arsenic and Old Lace is showing for three weeks at the Roch(e)dale Theatre in Goonellabah, from next Thursday, June 15, until Friday, June 30. Evening shows begin at 8pm and the matinee on Saturday, June 24, starts at 2pm.

Tickets are $15/12 from Caddies Bean Shop in Lismore or at the door.

Freebie: The Echo has a double pass for the preview show next Thursday, June 15, to give away to a lucky reader. To go in the draw to win phone 6622 2888 between 10.15 & 10.30am next Tuesday, June 13, and tell us if Roch(e)dale (as in Roch(e)dale theatre) is spelt with an e or not.
