The trs groovy weekly Jazz N Blues gig at the Rous

The trs groovy weekly Jazz N Blues gig at the Rous Hotel in Lismore keeps the cool sounds happening. Seeing and hearing local chanteuse Natalie Gay perform there recently with her band was a sublime pleasure. Unfortunately, shes moving to Melbourne (for the sunshine). Next Tuesday, May 30, Jool n The Gang will hit the stage with a collection of young but seasoned musos fronted by the warm and earthy vocals of Juliana E.P. The word is funk, the feeling is soul and the genre? Jazz. The gig starts at 8.30pm (jazz time) and costs $7/5 to get in. (Oh, and Natalie will do backing vocals along with Sonia Leeson and the Julettes. Hooray!)
