Motorway resistance

The Big Scrub Environment Centre is holding a film, music and discussion night on the Pacific Motorway campaign upstairs at the Winsome Hotel in Lismore at 6pm this Sunday night, May 21.

Highlight of the evening will be the new 50-minute documentary film Bypassed. There will also be other short films about the motorway resistance, and music from local musicians.

Bypassed explores the environmental, cultural and community implications of the controversial Tugun C4 motorway. The Big Scrub Environment Centre is a key supporter of a major court action against the NSW Government to stop the unnecessary devastation.

Entry to the event will be $5/$8, with refreshments on sale.

For more on this and other Big Scrub campaigns, phone Valerie Thompson on 6689 205 or 0427 509 594.
