Haiku for you

A full day haiku workshop will be presented by the Fellowship of Australian Writers Summerland and Graham Nunn, the director of the Queensland Poetry Festival, on Sunday, June 11, from 9.30am at the RSL Sub-Branch Hall in Bugden Avenue, Alstonville.

Cost is $35 per person ($25 for FAW members) and bookings must be made by June 7 to Quendryth Young on 6628 3753 or email quendrythyoung@bigpond.com.

Haiku, for anyone who doesnt know, is a type of Japanese poetry. If poetry is prose on roller skates, then haiku is poetry on roller blades.
