Hornets buzzing after Anzac Cup win

The Goonellabah Hornets roared out their team song last night after winning the Anzac Cup in a thrill-a-minute match against Byron Bay. The Hornets, whose trophy cabinet already holds the Northern Premiers Cup, captured their latest piece of silverware in a highly entertaining encounter which produced three goals in the first seven minutes. The final scoreline was 4-3, with Hornets new striking trio of Ben Andrews, Jack Williamson and Peter ONeil proving the difference.
