Giving good kids recognition

Time is running out to nominate a young person making a positive difference in the community or in their own lives for the 2006 Kids in Community Awards.

The awards are open to young people aged between 13 and 25 in the following categories peer support, community support, indigenous youth support, homeless youth support, against all odds, mentor or role model and community or individual supporting youth or youth programs.

Nominations close on May 19, and the presentation will be held in Lismore on June 27.
