The magnificent seven

Seven of Lismores best karate exponents have earned selection in the NSW State Karate squad after an excellent showing in the NSW trials held in Sydney last weekend.

Three of the seven fighters, who are all from the Miyagi Kan Karate Club, took out gold in their section Laura Morgan, Tyson Hussien and Richard Morgan. Meanwhile Matt Tickle and Tasman Wales managed silver, and Dean and Ben Morgan took out bronze.

The magnificent seven will now take part in the National Championnships in Brisbane later in the year.
