Charge of the rock brigade

Mick Daley, frontman with The Re-Mains and The Puddin Thieves, has a new band based on his love of The Saddle Club.

Basing their on-stage look on 19th century cavalry charges, Mick Daley and The Thoughtful Hussars (a hussar means a light cavalryman light as in he didnt carry cannon but merely a lance and a sword) will be doing the big moustache and crazy jacket thing at their debut gig at the Billinudgel Hotel this Easter Sunday, April 16, when the band, made up of ex and current Re-Mains and one Invisible Friend, take the stage to deliver their post-country, post-modern, post-everything brand of reprobate rock and roll. Its a sort of antidote to the Blues Festival.
