Your comedy needs you

For the past seven years local comedian Mandy Nolan has been teaching people the finer points of stand-up comedy. Shes a very busy woman, hosting three comedy clubs, performing with the likes of Bob Downe, Dave Hughes, Adam Spencer and Wil Anderson, and has just returned from touring with Puppetry of the Penis.

Next Wednesday, April 12, Mandy will host the TAFE Stand Up Comedy Graduation at the Tatts Hotel in Lismore at 8pm.

Mandy has been teaching TAFE drama students the finer points of stand-up. The workshop draws upon each persons experience and world view to help them develop an onstage persona and material. After six weeks of training the course climaxes with this live performance, where the students deliver their first five-minute stand-up routine. Gulp. Mandy will be at the helm as MC.

Entry is $10 at the door.
