Traders of the rock art

They have a new singer, a new direction, a new CD and a gig in Lismore it doesnt get any better than that for the Rogue Traders (pictured).

In October, 2003, James Ash and Steve Davis from Rogue Traders stood on stage at the Sydney Convention Centre and received an ARIA award for Best Dance Single for their INXS remix One Of My Kind. At this point they reckoned that though they loved the recognition for their work, they wanted that recognition for their own songs. Here Comes The Drums

signalled a new approach. Its a band-based album. Ash and Davis have incorporated the distinctive vocal skills of Natalie Bassingthwaite and written a bunch of diverse songs.

Rogue Traders will ignite the Lismore Workers Club on Good Friday, April 14, from 8.30pm. Tickets are $37 and available from the club (6621 7401).
