Symbiosis means living together for mutual benefit

Symbiosis means living together for mutual benefit. This is a concept that inspires the Melbourne-based band Symbiosis. (And what a fine concept it is.) Having supported the likes of Cat Empire and Resin Dogs, and fresh from gigs at the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Symbiosis are heading north with their distinctive type of global roots music a blend of rock, Gypsy, ska, hip hop and hillbilly. Oh really? Lets just call it gyp-hop n reggae-rock. See what it all means musically when Symbiosis take to the stage at Ballina RSL next Friday, April 14 (Good Friday). The band has just released their debut EP Wishing Well. And the gig is free.
