Nature strokes

This painting by Barry Mason, Rocky Curve, is part of the exhibition Images of Nature by the Brush Strokes collective. Brush Strokes consists of artists Ellen Leo, Patricia Wilson, Pam Paterson, Barry Mason, Margaret E Brown and George Pardon all residents of the Northern Rivers. They combine their talents (displaying a variety of painting techniques from traditional to contemporary and expressive) to produce exhibitions on varying themes.

Their latest, Images of Nature, officially opens at Paperbark Gallery (Canberra Road in the Evans Head Art & Industry Estate) this Sunday, April 2, and runs until April 30. Art lovers are welcome to the opening festivity at 11am where they can chat to the artists and guzzle champagne in a sophisticated way.

For more info or to book a glass at the opening, phone Vanessa from the gallery on 6682 5188.
