Guarding against fish kills and flood

An information day to discuss the February 2001 flood and subsequent fish kill in the Richmond River will be held this Friday, March 24, at the Richmond Room in Ballina.

This event had a huge impact on local seafood and tourism industries, and

he information day is designed to look at what has been done to guard against a similar event and identify other measures that need to be taken.
