Free computer classes for over 60s

Youre never too old to surf the net, send emails or find your family history online according to Public Trustee NSW, which is holding free TechnoSeniors classes during Seniors Week (April 2-9) for people over 60.

Things can get confusing for all of us when a RAM is no longer the name of a woolly animal, a mouse doesnt squeak and when burning CDs doesnt require a flame, said Peter Whitehead from Public Trustee. With face-to-face customer service on the decrease things like banking, bills, shopping and daily tasks can be done quickly and easily online. Access to business, resources and friends through the internet can open up the world to people within their own homes.

Classes will be held at the Evans Head CTC and the Kyogle CTC from April 3-7 from 10am-3pm each day. To book phone 6682 6410 (Evans) or 6632 1833 (Kyogle).
