Get strapped in

Sport can be tough. Even last week I overheard a couple of netballing mums discussing how many rolls of tape they go through per weekend just to keep themselves on court.

Considering the growing demands that sport places on our joints it only makes sense to learn the art of the strapper. To this end NSW Sport and Recreation will be holding an Elastoplast StrapSmart and Advanced Sports Taping workshop with Lismore-based Commonwealth Games sports physiotherapist Karl Sprogis (pictured) in Lismore on March 29.

Other workshops to be conducted include Speed and Agility, Fatigue and Recovery and Sports Massage.

For more information phone the NSW Sport and Recreation on 6687 7168 or visit the website at www.dsr.nsw.gov.au.
