A sight for sore eyes

It may have been overcast and raining recently but that didnt stop students from Summerland Christian School wearing sunglasses for the annual fundraiser National Sunnies for Sight Day.

Showing off their cool shades are year four students (l-r) Sarah Herman, Sage Cousens, Alex Kinscher and Jesse Crawford.

The students helped raise money for the International Centre for Eyecare Education (ICEE), which works to improve the eyesight of people in countries including Sri Lanka, the Solomon Islands, East Timor and Vanuatu.
