SCU tree planting

A community tree planting day will be held at Southern Cross University this Saturday, March 11, from 8.30am.

With all the holes pre-dug, its an easy way for everybody to help provide more trees for local koalas and get a glimpse of the rare Wollemi pines that have been planted.

Members of Lismores five Rotary clubs will be helping out, and a sausage sizzle will be held.

The trees will be planted whatever the weather bring a hat and water, or gumboots if its raining.
